Postponement of 2nd IIUM Invitational Chess Tournament 2009

*POSTPONEMENT OF IIUM TOURNAMENT*

Kindly be informed that the 2nd IIUM Chess Invitational Tournament 2009 from 3&4 October has been postponed to 17&18 of October due to technical problem. The new details of the tournament has been updated as below:-

2^nd IIUM CHESS INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT 2009

The IIUM Sports & Recreational Centre will be organizing the 2^nd IIUM Chess Invitational Tournament 2009 schedule to be held on 17^th & 18^th October 2009 at Engine Hall, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Gombak. This tournament will be divided into three categories which are Open Category, Under-21 Category and Under-12 Category. The time control is 25 minutes per game/per player.

Registration Fee:

* This tournament is open to a limited number of participants based on first come first serve basis.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. This tournament is restricted to FIDE laws of tournament.
2. The time control is 25 minutes per game/per player. The adjustment of this time control is due to the numbers of participants.
3. One winner is eligible to one prize only.
4. All decisions are final.
